Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of DevIdentity. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. The service

DevIdentity aggregates public developer activity from platforms you connect and generates a professional portfolio, including AI-assisted summaries. Features may change over time.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must own, or have the right to connect, the accounts and data you import.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not import data you are not authorized to use, or impersonate others.
• Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, overload or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

4. AI-generated content

Summaries, headlines and case studies are generated by AI from your data and may contain errors. You can review and edit every AI field before it is published, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your public portfolio.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process and display it solely to operate the service. The DevIdentity software and brand remain ours.

7. Third-party platforms

Your use of connected platforms (GitHub, Kaggle, Stripe, etc.) is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
